Bilingual CPR, AED, and First Aid Training Certifications through AHA, ARC, and HSI
CPR SALVA was created in 2024 with the intention to offer high-quality training and hands-on classes to a wide range of students and diverse communities in the San Antonio and surrounding areas. Our goal is to educate and empower students to learn how to provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), use an automated external defibrillator (AED), and offer first aid during life-threatening emergencies, injuries, and illnesses. Our hope is for them to leave our classes feeling confident and competent in their ability to perform these life-saving skills. We strive to make our classes engaging, dynamic, and fun for all our students, which include:
The butterfly in our logo represents "transformation", the potential within every single person to make a difference in someone else's life. Our role as bystanders may be even more critical during life-threatening emergencies when every minute counts, such as cardiac arrest. Whether it's one of your patients, a co-worker, a stranger, or a loved one, you have the power to save lives and make a difference.
The word "SALVA" in Spanish means "to save". We focus on offering culturally sensitive classes in Spanish, as well, to better serve our Hispanic community with a language barrier. ¡Ofrecemos clases en tu idioma!
These are other areas CPR SALVA can travel to: Austin, Round Rock, Uvalde, Castroville, Fredericksburg, Boerne, Corpus, Port Aransas, Pleasanton, Seguin, Gonzales, Kerrville, Comfort, Hondo, Del Rio, San Marcos, New Braunfels, Eagle Pass, and Laredo.

My name is Gaby Martínez and I'm a bilingual CPR, AED, and First Aid instructor certified by the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, and Health & Safety Institute. In addition to working as a CPR instructor since 2021, I've been a certified Spanish medical interpreter for more than 20 years and a medical educator at UT Health Long School of Medicine in San Antonio since 2021. My goal is to inspire others to learn valuable skills that can save lives.
I was born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico, and I moved to the U.S when I was 20 years old. This has given me a unique and valuable opportunity to be able to serve Spanish speaking communities in Texas.
My hobbies include being in nature, hiking, camping, traveling, reading, and meditating.
